- Does the calculator know the right mileage for my car?
- It gives typical efficiency hints for hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs for petrol, diesel, and CNG — but your car's real mileage can differ. Enter your odometer-based mileage if you know it for the most accurate split.
- Can I include tolls in the split?
- Yes. Add toll charges separately and the calculator adds them to the total fuel cost before dividing it among everyone paying.
- What happens if the driver doesn't want to pay?
- Turn on the "driver rides free" option — the total cost is then split only among the remaining passengers, so the driver pays nothing.
- Does it work for CNG vehicles?
- Yes. Petrol, diesel, and CNG all have their own default price-per-unit and efficiency hints, so switch the fuel type and the calculation updates automatically.
