Is Niptao free?+
Yes, completely free. No premium plan, no hidden charges. Unlimited groups, unlimited expenses, UPI settlement — all at zero cost.
How does UPI settlement work?+
On Android, Niptao generates a UPI deeplink that opens your preferred UPI app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.) with amount and recipient pre-filled. On iOS, it copies the UPI ID and amount for easy paste.
Can I split rent monthly?+
Absolutely. Create a 'Flat' group and add recurring expenses — rent, electricity, internet. Niptao keeps a running balance so you always know who owes what.
Does it work offline?+
Offline support via PWA is coming soon. Currently requires an internet connection to sync expenses across group members.
