How much can I actually save by splitting?

The calculator compares the per-person price of a shared family plan against what each person would pay buying it solo (with a markup for services where a solo plan costs more per screen than a family plan). The savings shown are monthly and annual.

Does it account for screen or member limits?

Yes. Each service's real screen limit is built in — Netflix caps at 4, Spotify Family and Apple Music Family at 6, YouTube Premium family at 6, most food-delivery and fitness plans at 1 (non-shareable, shown for comparison only).

Is this subscription splitter free, and do I need to sign up?

It's completely free with no signup. To actually track who's paid their share each month and settle via UPI, Niptao (also free) logs it and sends reminders.
